Chancellery of the Sejm
The Chancellery of the Sejm operates, among other things, under the Resolution of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland of 30 July 1992 – Standing Orders of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland, the Act of 9 May 1996 on the Exercise of the mandate of deputy and senator, and the Statutes of the Chancellery of the Sejm. The Statutes of the Chancellery of the Sejm provide that it is an office supporting the Sejm and its bodies in legal, organizational, advisory, financial and technical capacities, following the principle of impartiality in discharge of its responsibilities. The Chancellery provides conditions for deputies to participate in the work of the Sejm and its bodies. In addition, it provides technical and financial facilities to enable deputies to exercise the deputy’s mandate in their constituencies, and to parliamentary clubs, groups and teams as well as to non-affiliated deputies, supporting their work on the premises of the Sejm.
